Mzaya Pvt. Ltd. - a energy saving solution firm today presented a Powermatics solution for Punjab State Power Corporation Limited to Deputy Chief Minister . Sukhbir Singh Badal that they claimed could save up to Rs.800 crore per year to the Corporation. Manyata Dutt, Director of the Company accompanied by her husband famous Cine Actor Sanjay Dutt made a presentation to Deputy Chief Minister in a meeting in which Secretary Power . Anirudh Tiwari and MD PSPCL . K.D. Chaudhary were also present. The Company said that Powermatics solution would increase the efficiency and optimize the current infrastructure increase in the power availability in the State. They said that Powermatics was the dynamic forecasting and optimizing system that would help to procure, schedule and optimize power for different parts of the State. She said that the adaptive intelligence system based statistical models generate forecast system. She informed that it takes into account various complex factors affecting future loads, transmission corridors etc. She informed that this system was currently extensively being used in North America, Europe, Japan and South Korea. Dutt informed that Powermatics will improve spot-exchange-UI prize realization for net contributors and sellers as compared to unscheduled interchange pool and spot market. Dutt said that this solution will reduce the procurement cost and benefiting the consumer by providing them power at reduced price. She said that the solution would reduce congestion charges and reduce power outrages. Appreciating the high tech solution the Punjab Deputy Chief Minsiter asked the PSPCL to study the success of Powermatics in those states where it was presently being run and explore the possibility of solution for Punjab. The company was told to conduct field trials in Punjab extensively before finalizing the proposal.
