Making a history in the ongoing membership drive of the BJP, Punjab unit of the party has crossed five lakh marks in just one month after the drive was started in the state on November 17th.According to Punjab President of the party, Sh. Kamal Sharma, the landmark achieved in a period of just a month was a big achievement and is the result of hard efforts put in by the party workers across the state.Sh.Sharma said that in this drive, party has got stupendous response in rural areas across the state and especially in Malwa region where the response to join the party has been extra ordinary.
The state party chief also claimed that following direction of the high command, the workers at the grass root level is meeting each and every section of the society and the party’s different wings were also performing the given task with full sincerity.He also claimed that due to technological transparency involved the membership drive, there is no chance of any mistake or deliberate bungling in it.Sh.Sharma said the party high command is closely monitoring the drive in each and every part of the country as the membership software also provide the party high ups the chance to get assembly –constituency- wise details of the data and the day to day progress.The state party chief said that the party’s different morchas are ready to take this drive to a new success in which the party would make total 21 lakh new members before March 31.
