Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik who was arrested in October after the announcements of election was Tuesday re-arrested just after his release from Anantnag Jail.In a statement, a JKLF spokesman said, “Yasin Sahib was released on bail today after-noon as he came out of Jail he was again picked up by police and has been remanded for 7-more days. He is lodged at Mattan police station also JKLF zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri has been shifted to Islamabad Jail from police Station Kral-Khud today.”While condemning the re-arrest of Malik, he said “To please the Goddess of so called Democracy, police arrested thousands of youth which included dozens of JKLF leaders also. Today police by re-arresting Yasin Sahib has once again proved that these so called elections are only a police operation and J&K State is actually a police state, Spokesman also condemned the torturing of many JKLF workers in interrogation centers and termed this as state terrorism.”
