Sachin Pilot, former Union Minister and President Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee criticized BJP for ‘misleading’ the nation on various fronts as it has failed to fulfill any of its promises so far except spreading falsehood and hollow slogans.Addressing a election rally at Sunderbani in support of Congress nominee Ravinder Sharma, he alleged, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has the best art of spreading falsehood by hollow slogans but his government is best to serve the interests of big corporate houses only.”Pilot claimed that UPA government had launched various policies and welfare programmes for the upliftment of poor and down trodden sections of the society and strengthened the nation by establishing peace, progress and prosperity as a result the India emerged as a strong nation. He criticized the ‘pisive’ politics of BJP and certain other forces which are against pluralistic factor of the nation and said “secularism alone can maintain the unity and integrity of the Country and the Jammu and Kashmir.”
Pilot appealed to people to give mandate to Congress and elect its candidates so that the party can form the next government in the State. He praised the qualities of Ravinder Sharma Congress nominee who has been serving the Constituency and party and described him a leader of clean image and capable to serve Nowshera constituency.Aijaz Ahmed Khan, Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation in his speech criticized the approach of Centre Government towards refugees and flood affected people and said and that its ‘hollow’ slogans will not serve the interests of sufferers. He appreciated the contribution of Sharma for tireless efforts for the cause of Sunderbani-Nowshera as MLC and also in the party.
