Stating that the BJP is going for massive sweep in the ensuing elections, Member of Parliament & J&K Prabhari Avinash Rai Khanna, said that the Congress will become part of history after December 23.Khanna said was addressing an election rally in favour of BJP candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency Kavinder Gupta at Dashmeshnagar.Avinash Rai Khanna said that the Congress is making all efforts to once again mislead the people on false slogans and promises but will not succeed this time as the people have already made up their mind to vote BJP candidates. He said that the BJP will achieve its Mission 44+ with comfort and show the door to Congress, the party spokesman in a statement issued to GNS said.
Kavinder Gupta while making appeal to the people to vote and support him, said that the record gathering at Srinagar rally is also an indicator that the people in Kashmir also want to vote BJP and defeat NC, Congress and PDP. He said that the Congress in particular is finding difficult to face the people as it has no genuine answer to the questions of people who want clarifications on Congress’ support to NC, which always preferred Kashmir over Jammu and discriminated with it in all matters and at all levels. He assured the people to mitigate their sufferings when BJP forms government in the state.
NC leader Amarjeet Singh and Congress leader Paramjeet Singh also joined BJP during the meeting.Similar public meetings were also held in Channi Himmat, Bajral, Ambika Vihar, Model Town, Govindpura and Ashok Nagar.
