Claiming that Pakistan was desperate to spread violence in Jammu and Kashmir, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) National General Secretary Ram Madhav Sunday said ‘international community should be aware about the tactics of Pakistan and should realize that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have rejected the violence and have preferred the Democracy.’According to KNS correspondent while talking to media persons on the sidelines of a BJP function here Madhav said, “The government of India has enough evidence about the role of Pakistan’s involvement in terrorism. But let me tell the people that frustrated to see the huge voter turnout in Jammu and Kashmir Pakistan is desperately attempting to spread violence here.”

He said that the international community should be aware about the ‘dangerous polices’ of Pakistan and should know that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have ‘rejected the guns to choose the path of democracy.’Later talking to KNS he said, “Indian government has taken all the necessary measures to stop the attempts of Pakistan to disrupt the peace in Jammu and Kashmir. Besides this the government of India will never allow the militants to succeed.”Madhav maintained that recent militant attacks would have no impact on the Prime Minister’s rally. “We salute our brave troops and as long as they are on the ground, we need not to worry about the security,” he said.

Urging people to vote for BJP in the on-going assembly polls, he said that if the party came to power not only the state government but also the Centre would work for JK’s development.“National Conference and Peoples Democratic Party which ruled Jammu and Kashmir for decades will have to go now as the people have decided to vote against them. BJP is committed for the development of Jammu and Kashmir and is promised to give good governance in the state,” he claimed. (KNS)
