Forces on Thursday arrested a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant in Chandkote area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, official sources said.Police sources told GNS that a militant identified as Aijaz Ahmad Mir, son of Muhammad Ahsan Mir, from an orchard in Chandkote. “He was active since last five to seven months,” they said.Sources informed that the militant was apprehended by Special Operation Group (SOG) Kreeri.“A pistol, a grenade, two magazines and eight rounds of bullets were recovered from his possession,” the sources added.
