Incarcerated ailing Chairman of JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik is still admitted at SKIMS hospital.In a statement to KNS a spokesman of the Front said doctors are constantly watching his health conditions. “Yasin’s both kidneys have been diagnosed with multiple stones. As he has been many times operated upon for the same problem, doctors are worried about the reoccurrence of these stones. Doctors have taken many medical tests of Yasin and some of these tests have been sent to Delhi for further examination report of which is still awaited.”
“It is worth to mention that after being shifted to SKIMS from Islamabad jail, Yasin has been put under strict police cordon and nobody is allowed to meet him in hospital. Relatives who want to see him are frisked severely before entering,” he said.
JKLF Vice chairman Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi and Zonal president Noor Mohammad Kalwal in a statement condemned the ‘oppression’ against Yasin and strict restrictions placed against him in hospital.“This oppressive behavior of India and its Kashmir stooges shows the level of frustration they are suffering from. Authorities are actually nervous with the popularly of Yasin and resistance camp. Authorities know that if Yasin and others are allowed to run a boycott campaign freely results will be devastating for pro election parties and leaders and there will be total boycott of these farce elections. That is why India and its Kashmiri stooges have resorted to oppressive measures and undemocratic means,” they claimed.
It is worth to mention that along with JKLF chairman many JKLF leaders and activists including vice chairman advocate Bashir Ahmad Bhat, vice chairman master sheikh Mohammad Afzal, secretary general engineer Ghulam Rasool Dar Eidi, zonal deputy chief organizer Siraj Ud Din Mir, zonal press secretary Mohammad Ashraf Dar, District presidents Bashir Ahmad Boya, Rafiq Ahmad War and Javed Ahmad Butt, sectary Ganderbal Gayas ud din, Abdul Hamid, Mohammad Sultan Wani ,Mohammad Akbar ,Fayaz Ahmad of Bihama , Aakif Ahmad, Mudasir Ahmad and Mohammad Himayoon of Tulmula are languishing in different jails. Police has also arrested another JKLF activist from Feteh gad Sopore namely Parvaiz Ahmad lone and police is also constantly raiding the residence of JKLF district secretary
