The world is too small for walls but man is building around himself all kinds of walls due to ignorance. Saints, Gurus and prophets have, therefore, always advised man to link with God. Once mind is enlightened with Truth, he will shun hatred, jealousy and violence because he will see the image of God in every human being in the form of soul.This was stated here late last evening by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, while addressing the 2nd day open session of the on-going 67th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam. The 3-day Samagam is being attended by lakhs of devotees and other God-loving people from all over India and abroad.
Baba Ji said when Berlin Wall was removed, some stones were retained as relics to remind the world about the harm of such walls. One of the stones contains a slogan – ‘This world is too small for walls’. Baba Ji said that it impressed me because it contained the message of love, tolerance, unity and peace. Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said that every word of saints and holy scriptures has been addressed to man. Unfortunately, we read and recite them and do not adopt them in life. Today also, the message given by saints here is that, as taught by saints, we must enlighten our soul and mind and see the image of God in every human being.
Baba Ji mentioned about the team of Doctors from Life Chiropratic College West, USA who are providing their voluntary services to the needy at the Samagam venue and appreciated their spirit of selfless service – physical, mental and material. Coming from USA, Canada, UK and other countries along with some NRIs, they presented a memento to His Holiness to recognize the Mission’s selfless contribution towards the welfare of mankind. Baba Ji also referred to the Nobel Peace Award winner, Shri Kailash Satyarthi Ji present at the Samagam and said that he was also convinced with the Mission’s message of love and compassion and our efforts towards the welfare of society.His Holiness said that while we talk about awakening man and removing ignorance, we feel that everybody has his own role as well as importance. There is no question of rich or poor, high or low. He said that our feet remain firm in soil while we only slip from the marble.
