Vigilance Bureau today nabbed a Patwari red handed while accepting bribe of Rs.50, 000.Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Patwari Jai Karan Singh posted at revenue area Bharath Kazi Chak, Sub Tehsil Dinanagar was nabbed on the complaint of Smt. Yoto Devi resident of Bhatilo of district Kangra of Himachal Pradesh. In her complaint Smt. Yoto Devi alleged that Patwari Jai Karan was demanding bribe of Rs. 70,000 for mutation of the land of her deceased husband on her name.Acting on the tip off a trap was laid by the team of Vigilance Bureau headed by DSP, Mr. Naresh Kumar Thakur and Patwari Jai Karan was nabbed red handed while accepting the first installment of Rs. 50,000.
