We will press the Union Government to expedite the legal proceedings so the guilty could put behind the bars by adopting appropriate legal measures.”

On the issue of media reports regarding PPCC President Mr. Partap Singh Bajwa’s proximity with a person involved in criminal activities, Mr. Badal said that it was very unfortunate if he hired gangsters to put away congress workers having resentment against him. Mr. Badal said that it should be revised in view of current farming scenario.Answering to a query that 30th anniversary of Sikh pogrom is falling in next month and what is being done by SAD in this regard, Mr. Badal said tomorrow they will lay a foundation stone of memorial in the memory of 1984 riot victims.
