Police on Thursday claimed to have arrested a Lashkar-e-Toiba militant from south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.A senior police official told GNS that special operation group (SOG) Pulwama, 44RR, 182 and 183 CRPF acting on a tip off, established a naka at Sheikhaad Pulwama.“During the naka search, the joint party arrested a LeT militant Abid magray @Suju son of Manzoor Ahmad Magray resident of Nowpora Payeen near Sheikhaad Pulwama”, the official said.The apprehended militant is involved in series of militancy related incidents in south Kashmir and was a close aide of Abu Maaz and Abu Qasim, the official added.
