Devender Singh Rana, Member, State Legislative Council, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today.Rana apprised the Governor about the difficulties being faced by the people on account of cross border firing across the International Border and the Line of control and about the ongoing efforts of the State Government to mitigate their sufferings.Rana requested the Governor, who is also the Chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, to create en-route facilities for Vaishno Devi pilgrims at Kol Kondoli, Nagrota in Jammu. Mr. Rana also urged that the Shrine Board should enhance the present level of procurements of various products produced by local Self Help Groups (SHGs), comprised by members of communities residing in the areas adjoining the Shrine.
