Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) Supremo Om Parkash Chautala today gave a clarion call to the people of Haryana to end the Congress era in the state. Vowing the electorate to cast votes in favour of INLD, Chautala said that forfeiting of security deposit of the candidates of the rival parties would make the victory of the INLD a memorable one. He said that while the Congress government in the Haryana has looted the people for complete ten years, the BJP that promised people of bringing Ache Din too ditched. “BJP government at the centre has proved disastrous for the farming and industrial sector. The plight of the farmers in the state is so bad that they are not even getting the input cost for the paddy produce”, he said.

Chautala further said that efforts are on to shift the big industrial units like Maruti to Gujarat, which if happens, would prove extremely detrimental for the industry of the Haryana. Taking a dig at his political rivals, Chautala said that baffled with the massive response which INLD rallies are getting in Haryana. Addressing the election rallies in Kosli and Bhiwani segment of district Rewari, village Bhalot in Kiloi segment of Rohtak, Panipat and Jhajjar, Chautala said that BJP had promised with the people of this country that in the first 100 days, the poverty and inflation would be the era of past and Swaminathan report would be implemented. “But unfortunately, the BJP government has failed to fulfill any of its poll promise”, he asserted.

Chautala said that what to talk about the implementation of the Swaminathan report, which says that the farmers must get the MSP of input cost with atleast 50 per cent of the profit, a ban on the export of the paddy has been enforced, because of which the farmers are suffering loss of rs 1500 a quintal as compared to last year. He further said that diesel prices have been increased five times ever since the BJP government has come. “There has been hike in the railway fare”, he said, Striking an emotional chord with the people, Chautala pointed out that the creation of Haryana was due to the struggle of Chaudhary Devi Lal and now the task to make the state a developed and free from corruption can only be possible if the INLD government comes.
