The Punjab Government would ensure the proper implementation of Labour Laws besides introducing a package of welfare schemes for construction labour and the necessary directions for compliance of Labour Laws have been issued to concerned authorities. Surjit Kumar Jiyani, Forest Minister and Chairman Punjab Building and Other Constructions Workers Welfare Board, stated this during a review meeting with the board members.
