The Indian men's team ended its Asian Games campaign Sunday finishing 14th while the women's team will be fighting it out for the seventh place after losing the classification matches here at the Seonhak Handball Gymnasium.The men's team lost 25-32 to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to finish 14th while the women's squad lost to Uzbekistan 26-44 in the 5th-8th classification matches. The Indian eves will now fight it out for the seventh place. The men's team conceded the first half narrowly 13-17 and went down in the second half in a similar fashion 12-15. They had lost all their three preliminary round matches, losing to Chinese Taipei, South Korea and Japan.The women's team trailed their much stronger opponents Uzbekistan 11-22 in the first half and 15-22 in the second session. They had earlier tied with Thailand before losing to South Korea and China.
