Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh launched “Special Scholarship Scheme for the wards of Army Personnel" at Chandigarh Press Club today. General JJ Singh, PVSM, AVSM, VSM (Retd) (Ex Army Chief) and Former Governor, Arunachal Pradesh was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges presided over the event.Under this special scheme, 50 students will be benefitted who would get 50% Scholarship in various courses being offered at Aryans i.e. B.Tech, MBA, BBA, BCA, Polytechnic Diploma, GNM, BA, B.Com, +1 (Non Medical) etc. Those who are interested in getting this scholarship can call on Toll free Helpline 1800-30000-388 or visit www.aryans.edu.in. General JJ Singh (Retd) after the launch of the scheme said that this is a great and unique initiative being taken by Aryans Group to help the wards of Army Personnel to study in Aryans by providing them the Financial Support. He added that this special scholarship is very beneficial for the wards of External and Internal Securities who have spent the prime time of their lives in the service of our motherland.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges said that there are various Army Schools where the children of Army Personnel get good Education. But after schooling, for getting Professional education, they have to go to Private Colleges where the Fee Structure is very high. He added that now, new avenues are being opened by Aryans especially for children of Army personnel.Kataria added that Army works for the security of the country. In case of any disaster like recent Floods in JK, Mumbai 26/11 Attack etc, the Army persons are called immediately for help. But nobody thinks about them and their families.
