Punjab Public Works Minister S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. today expressed confidence that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will once again form the government in Punjab with a decisive mandate in the forthcoming Assembly elections.
He said the people of Punjab continue to repose their trust and confidence in the AAP Government, and on the strength of its welfare-oriented policies, transparent governance and development-driven agenda, the party is poised to script history once again.
Addressing large gatherings during public interaction programmes held at Gehri Mandi and Muchhal villages in the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency, the Cabinet Minister said that the people of Punjab have endorsed the politics of development, honest governance and public welfare.
He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has provided government jobs to deserving youth purely on merit and has created new employment opportunities across various sectors.
Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. said that under the Health Revolution initiative, the State Government has established Aam Aadmi Clinics across Punjab while simultaneously strengthening the infrastructure of government hospitals and healthcare institutions to provide quality medical services to the people. He added that the Chief Minister Health Insurance Scheme has emerged as a major relief for the common man.
Highlighting other welfare initiatives, the Minister said that the provision of 300 units of free electricity has resulted in nearly 90 per cent of households receiving zero electricity bills, enabling families to save thousands of rupees every month.
He further said that the Maa-Dhiyan Satkar Yojana is another significant welfare scheme benefiting women across the State. Referring to the Education Revolution, he said that government schools have undergone comprehensive transformation, enabling Punjab to emerge as one of the leading states in the country in the field of education.
Speaking about the development of the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency, the Public Works Minister said that development works are being carried out with complete dedication and commitment across the constituency. He asserted that the pace and scale of development achieved under the present AAP Government surpass what previous governments could accomplish over the past several decades.
He assured the people that development projects would continue uninterrupted and that there would be no shortage of funds for the overall progress of the constituency.Expressing gratitude to the people for their overwhelming response and enthusiastic participation in the public interaction programmes, S. Harbhajan Singh E.T.O. reaffirmed his commitment to work with greater dedication for the development, prosperity and welfare of the people of the Jandiala Guru Assembly Constituency.
