MoU signed for strengthening healthcare services in Samba under CSR Initiative

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Chandigarh Central Rotary Club Trust and the Office of the Chief Medical Officer Samba, in the august presence of the Deputy Commissioner Ayushi Sudan for strengthening healthcare services in the district through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) support.

Under this initiative, IOCL will provide one Colour Doppler Ultrasound Machine and one Critical Life Support Ambulance to the Office of the Chief Medical Officer Samba for Government Hospital Ghagwal. The MoU signing ceremony was held today at Samba.

The initiative aims to enhance diagnostic and emergency healthcare facilities for the people of the area and reflects the shared commitment of all stakeholders towards improving public healthcare infrastructure and patient care services.

The Deputy Commissioner appreciated the collaborative effort and emphasized that the addition of advanced medical equipment and a life support ambulance would significantly benefit the residents of the region, particularly in emergency and critical care situations.

Representatives from IOCL, Chandigarh Central Rotary Club Trust, the Health Department and district administration were present during the signing ceremony.
