LPU Celebrated International Graduation Day as Students from 30+ Countries Embarked on Global Journeys ahead

Lovely Professional University celebrated global unity, aspirations, and achievement as 571 international students from 30+ countries came together for the grand International Students Graduation Day ceremony. Draped in elegant graduation robes and caps, students filled the campus with pride, emotions, cultural diversity, and dreams for the future.

Students representing nations including Nepal, Angola, Myanmar, Mongolia, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Sudan, Yemen, Liberia, Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Ghana, and several others participated in the prestigious ceremony, making it a truly international affair. The celebrations commenced with grand procession as graduating students marched with pride towards the auditorium amid cheers, applause, and ceremonial music. 

The atmosphere resonated with excitement and accomplishment as students celebrated years of academic dedication, friendships, and their memorable experiences at LPU. Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU chaired the ceremony. 

Congratulating the graduating students, Dr. Mittal stated, “Today is not merely a graduation ceremony but a celebration of courage, perseverance, and global friendship. Each one of you arrived here carrying aspirations from your homeland, and today you leave as globally empowered individuals ready to lead and inspire. 

Wherever you go, let the values of humanity, innovation, and inclusivity guide your journey. LPU will always remain your second home.” Pro Chancellor of LPU Col. Dr. Rashmi Mittal stated, “LPU has always been home to a global community where students from different cultures, traditions, and nations learn and grow together as one family. 

As you step into new professional journeys across the world, you will carry not only your degrees, but also the values, experiences, and global outlook nurtured at LPU, becoming ambassadors of innovation, unity, and cultural understanding.” The ceremony was also graced by the presence of Dr. Loviraj Gupta, Pro Vice Chancellor of LPU, and Dr. Monica Gulati, Executive Dean and Registrar, along with senior university officials, faculty members, and representatives from the International Affairs division.

With students from over 50+ countries currently studying on campus and a thriving international student community of more than 3000 learners, LPU continues to strengthen its position as a globally connected educational institution. Backed by 550+ international collaborations and extensive academic partnerships worldwide, the university is creating wider opportunities for global exposure, academic mobility, cultural exchange, and experiential learning.
