MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi honoured young handball player from Jammu, Anuj Langer for his outstanding achievement of winning a bronze medal at the Central Asian Handball Championship held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, from March 30 to April 5, 2026.

A resident of Sehgal Gali, Anuj Langer has brought laurels to Jammu and the nation through his dedication, hard work, and consistent performance on the international stage. While felicitating him at his resident, Yudhvir Sethi praised the young athlete’s determination and commitment, stating that such achievements serve as an inspiration for the youth to pursue excellence in sports.

Yudhvir Sethi was accompanied by Arun Sethi District President OBC Morcha, Chaman East Mandal Secretary, Raman Gupta, Suraj Anand, Kamlesh Tak, Raman Behal, Suraj Gandral and Vinod Kumar. Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the importance of promoting sports culture in Jammu and Kashmir and assured continued support to talented players who represent the region at national and international levels.

Sethi added that Anuj’s success reflects the growing potential of youth in the Union Territory. Expressing gratitude, Anuj Langer thanked his mentors, family, and supporters for their encouragement.
