As part of the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, District Administration Samba today organised an interaction session with Civil Society Organisations at Vijaypur to strengthen collective efforts against drug abuse. During the session, the Deputy Commissioner Samba, Ayushi Sudan along with SSP Samba, Anuj Kumar, interacted with members of civil society, public representatives and locals.

The discussion focused on the growing concern of substance abuse, its impact on society and the need for coordinated and sustained action to address the issue effectively. Members of civil society and the local public actively participated in the interaction and shared their views and suggestions on tackling the menace of drugs.

The Deputy Commissioner assured that the administration is committed to taking strict and effective measures against drug abuse and will continue to act firmly against those involved in such activities. She emphasised the importance of collective responsibility and called upon all stakeholders to work in a unified and determined manner towards achieving the goal of a Nasha Mukt Samba.

It was highlighted that the ongoing 100-day campaign aims to create widespread awareness and sensitise every section of society against the harmful effects of drugs. The programme was attended by SDM Vijaypur, other concerned officers, members of civil society organisations, public representatives and locals.
