Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab’s Media In-charge Baltej Pannu launched a sharp attack on the rally organized by Congress in Barnala, exposing what he described as the reduced stature of Punjab Congress leaders before their high command. Baltej Pannu wrote on his social media handle (X), “Dilli wale aa gye, Dilli wale aa gye!’ To the Punjab Congress leaders who cry about the every day — is Rahul Gandhi from Bholath and is Mallikarjun Kharge from Baghapurana?”

Pannu also targeted those Punjab Congress leaders who are dreaming of becoming Chief Minister. He wrote, “It’s really unfortunate for those Congress leaders who are getting jackets stitched to become Chief Minister! Even your photos have disappeared from the posters!”

Baltej Pannu took a dig on the fact that local Punjab Congress leaders were not given space on the posters of the Congress rally in Barnala, while these same leaders continue to accuse the Aam Aadmi Party of “running Punjab from Delhi.” The statement by the AAP Media In-charge also brings to light the internal politics within Congress, where several Punjab Congress leaders are eager for the Chief Minister’s chair, yet in the eyes of the high command they appear to have no standing, not even enough to have their photos included on the rally posters.
