Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the promises made by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to the people of Punjab remain unfulfilled even after four years in power. He alleged that both the Congress and AAP are involved in corruption and said that AAP has gone ‘four steps ahead’ of Congress in corruption.

The Chief Minister was addressing the Purvanchal Samman Rally held at Ludhiana on Sunday. Praising the organisation of the rally, the Chief Minister said that Ludhiana is a renowned industrial city and he bows in respect to this hardworking land. He said that Punjab is the land of Gurus, saints and brave warriors.

Referring to Ludhiana as the industrial capital of Punjab and the ‘Manchester of India,’ he thanked the gathering for inviting him. He said the rally was not just an event, but a message of change. He said that Punjab is the soul of India, a guardian of the nation’s borders, the voice of the Gurus and the identity of courage.

Taking a dig at Congress and AAP, he reiterated that both parties are involved in corruption, alleging that AAP has surpassed Congress in this regard. He claimed that the people of Punjab have made up their minds to bring a BJP government to the state and remove both Congress and AAP from power.

The Chief Minister said that AAP has done nothing in four years and has failed to fulfil even a single promise made to the people. He said that the party misled the public with false assurances.

He added that not only this, Arvind Kejriwal and his leaders used to call themselves the epitome of honesty, but their true face has been exposed to the entire nation, mentioning that several of them, including Kejriwal, have faced jail. He said that while Congress gave birth to corruption, AAP has allowed it to grow further.

The Chief Minister said that Punjab and Haryana, both states, share common roots, culture and values. In Haryana, the government is working rapidly to fulfil the promises made to the people. He said that gas cylinders are being provided to women at Rs. 500, and free dialysis is being provided to kidney patients in government hospitals and medical colleges across Haryana, he added.

He further said that Haryana is the first state in the country where all crops are being procured at the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Around two lakh youth have been provided jobs through a transparent recruitment process. Under the Ayushman/Chirayu scheme, free medical treatment has been provided to 27 lakh families, and an amount of Rs. 4,500 crore has been spent on this.

He also said that special attention is being given to the healthcare of senior citizens above 70 years of age. Under the Lado Lakshmi Yojana, eligible women receive Rs. 2,100 per month, and loans of up to Rs. 5 lakh are being provided at an interest rate of 4 percent to help make women self-reliant.

The Chief Minister alleged that instead of curbing drug abuse, AAP has allowed it to increase. He said that when the BJP forms the government in Punjab in 2027, strict action will be taken against those involved in drug-related activities, and gangster culture will be eliminated.

The Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi believes inthe politics of development and assured that once the BJP forms the government in Punjab, all central schemes will be implemented in the state, he added. He accused AAP of indulging in petty politics, as people and vehicles were stopped from attending the rally. He said that this is a reflection of poor mentality.

The Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini appealed to the gathering to bring the BJP government to power in Punjab in 2027 to make the state number one. During the programme, BJP State Working President, Sh. Ashwani Sharma and rally organiser Sh. Rajesh Mishra also addressed the gathering and called upon people to ensure the formation of a BJP government in the upcoming Assembly elections.

Ludhiana District President Sh. Rajneesh Dhiman, along with other officers and other dignitaries were present on this occasion.
