Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, today chaired a meeting of senior Revenue Officers at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex to assess tehsil-wise progress on key revenue matters and streamline service delivery mechanisms across the district along with progress on digitisation of revenue records.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mir Imtiyaz Ul Aziz, SDM West, Irfan Bahadur, SDM East, Zubair Ahmad, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Umar Gulzar and all Tehsildars. 

At the outset, the Deputy Commissioner undertook a detailed  tehsil-wise review of  mutation cases, attestation of revenue records, issuance of certificates, disposal of public grievances, progress in digitisation of revenue records of the district and other time-bound services delivered through the Revenue Department. 

The DC also reviewed the functioning of online service delivery platforms, particularly the Jansugam and Revenue Plus portals. On the occasion, the DC stressed the importance of adopting effective and efficient mechanisms to enhance the overall performance of the Revenue Department.

He urged Officers to ensure quality and timely service delivery to citizens, emphasizing strict adherence to PSGA timelines, particularly with regard to the Jansugam and Revenue Plus portals. The DC further asked the Revenue Officers to ensure effective monitoring of ongoing digitisation of revenue related records
