Kashmir relief: AAP MLAs to donate Rs.20 lakh each

All the AAP legislators will donate Rs.20 lakh each from their MLA funds for relief work in Jammu and Kashmir following the devastating floods, party chief Arvind Kejriwal said Friday."All AAP MLAs to donate Rs.20 lakh each for Kashmir flood relief from their MLA funds," Kejriwal said in a tweet.Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia said all the party MLAs have decided to collectively donate Rs.5.5 crore for Kashmir flood relief."AAP units from across the country are already sending relief material by coordinating with various NGOs," Sisodia tweeted.The state has been battling the worst floods in 60 years, which have left over 200 people dead. About four lakh people are still estimated to be marooned in Srinagar.The AAP has 27 MLAs in Delhi.
