Two killed in robbers' attack in Telangana

Two people were killed and two were injured in an attack by robbers on three houses in Telangana's Warangal district in the early hours of Friday, police said.A group of seven burglars broke into the houses in Raghunathpalli, a small town in the district. When the residents resisted them, they attacked them with sharp-edged weapons.A 55-year-old woman B. Lakshmi and a nine-year-old girl Nandini were killed in the attack. A five-year-old boy and 80-year-old woman were critically injured. The injured were being shifted to Hyderabad for treatment.Police said the robbers escaped with Rs.50,000 cash and jewellery from the houses.
