Mayhem caused by the heavy rains and flood and the miserable situation requires every one of us to stand up and work hard for saving human lives and providing help and assistance to the affected people. This is the time when all of us should bow before Allah almighty and ask for forgiveness. To save affected people from flood water and to provide them relief needs boats. We appeal to house boat association, Shikara association and other related to provide their immediate help in this regard. This was stated by the chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik while talking to people at various places hit by heavy flood and rains today. Yasin malik who arrived from Delhi last evening, today early in the morning started his visit towards the worst hit areas.
According to the statement issued to KNS, he along with senior leader Noor Mohammad kalwal, Showkat Ahmad Bakhshi, Sheikh Abdul Rashid ,Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri and others reached Bemina and after walking through feet’s of water reached Hamdania colony and other Adjacent areas on foot. Yasin sahib met with the affected people and enquired about their condition. While showing solidarity with the affected people, Yasin sahib said that today whole Jammu Kashmir has been hit by a natural catastrophe and people across Jammu Kashmir have been affected. But it is these times when living nations rise above their personal interests and try to provide help and assistance to those who are more affected. Yasin Malik said that as taught by our religion and prophet SAW we all need to look after our affected brothers and sisters and help them in whatever way we can. Yasin Malik said that our sins and errors are responsible for these natural calamities but in this hour of ordeal we will have to prove our humanity and brotherhood. He said that it is our religious, moral and national duty to provide immediate help to those who have been left homeless and helpless by heavy rains and flood. People especially those who have been bestowed by Allah with wealth, should rise to the occasion and do whatever they can to help these victims of natural catastrophe. Yasin sahib met with the effected families and people and assured them of every possible help and assistance at this hour of dire need. While talking to the people, JKLF chairman appealed to the nation of Kashmir especially the wealthy people to rise up to the occasion and stand up for these victims of natural catastrophe. Yasin sahib directed every JKLF activist and well wisher to help and assist in whatever way they can , and perform their national and religious duty regarding the victims and effected brothers and sisters who have been left without roof, shelter and help . While expressing grief and sorrow over the lost of many lives the number of whom is day by day increasing, in Rajouri, Poonch, Surankot and Kashmir, JKLF chairman prayed to the Allah almighty to have mercy on this poor nation and forgive our sins and errors. People on the occasion apprised Yasin sahib about their immediate needs and said that small boats are a must need in these areas as reaching with relief or evacuating people stranded in flood needs boats and Shikaras. Yasin sahib appealed to the house boat association, Shikara association and other related people and organizations to come to the rescue of these victims and provide their assistance and help in this regard immediately.
