As part of Good Governance Week–2025, the District Administration Ramban today intensified its flagship outreach campaign “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore” across the district to strengthen last-mile delivery of government services. On the third day of the campaign, Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Alyas Khan presided over a mega public outreach programme at Nowgam Panchayat, attracting huge participation from local residents despite continuous rainfall and freezing conditions.

The Deputy Commissioner inspected stalls put up by the line departments to facilitate on-the-spot service delivery and grievance redressal. Interacting with the public, he stated that the initiative has been designed to ensure easy access to government schemes and services at the grassroots level.

ACD Sheraz Ahmed; SDM Mohammad Naseeb Bajran, along with district and sectoral officers, participated in the programme. After listening to grievances raised by the locals, the Deputy Commissioner resolved most of the issues   on the spot and assured that the remaining demands would be taken up with concerned authorities.

He advised people to avail the benefits of the government welfare schemes and encouraged them to seek proper guidance from departmental stalls. The public was sensitized about the Financial Inclusion initiatives, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana, PM Kisan Maandhan Yojana, JK Samadhan, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, Kisan Credit Card, Inheritance Mutation services, PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, e-KYC (FCS & CA), DLC by Banks, PMAY (G & U), PMJAY–Sehat, and BOCA registration, besides imparting awareness on public safety, child and women protection and drug abuse prevention.
