Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma today conducted a surprise visit to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri to take firsthand stock of the healthcare services. During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected wards and interacted with patients and attendants to assess the quality of healthcare being provided by the hospital management. 

He enquired about the availability of medicines, cleanliness, and overall patient satisfaction. The Deputy Commissioner directed the hospital administration to ensure timely redressal of patient grievances and to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and service delivery in all sections of the hospital.

He also directed regular monitoring of essential services and immediate rectification of any shortcomings to ensure uninterrupted and quality healthcare for all. The visit was conducted in response to a few complaints surfacing on social media.
