The grand event was attended by the entire star cast including Pukhraj Bhalla, Amrit Amby, Pawan Johal, Hashneen Chauhan and others along with Writer-Director Rabby Tiwana and Producer Munish Sahni, who unveiled a special announcement teaser, officially confirming the film’s release in cinemas on 7th August 2026.
One of the most loved Punjabi web series ever made, Yaar Jigree Kasooti Degree holds a special place in the hearts of audiences, with over 550 million cumulative views on YouTube. The film will carry forward the story that began with the series, bringing back its relatable characters, college nostalgia, and heartfelt friendships but this time, with brand-new twists and emotions.
Actor Pukhraj Bhalla shared, “This isn’t just a film it’s a reunion. The fans grew with us, and now we’re bringing that magic back where it belongs the big screen.” Speaking at the launch, Rabby Tiwana said, “YJKD started as a dream shared with the audience, and their love made it a movement.
