Taking a significant step towards modernizing, strengthening, and ensuring a reliable electricity supply system in Ludhiana Central, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi today inaugurated several important power projects. These initiatives mark another milestone in the development efforts of the constituency, directly improving the daily lives of thousands of residents and boosting the economic and social growth of the area.

The projects include the installation of a new 11 KV feeder at Children Park (backside of Civil Hospital) in Ward Nos. 75 and 78 at a cost of ₹13.37 lakh, the inauguration of a 66 KV sub-station in Dr. Ambedkar Colony (Ghoda Colony), Ward No. 30 at a cost of ₹4.50 crore, and the commissioning of upgraded transformers in the Wait Ganj area, Ward No. 82 and 83, at a cost of ₹20 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ashok Prashar Pappi said, “Our commitment to the development of Ludhiana Central is not limited to papers; it is being implemented on the ground. These projects will raise the standard of electricity supply, reduce power outages, and ensure stable electricity for industrial and residential areas.” He further stated that improving electricity facilities is not merely about expanding infrastructure—it is a fundamental component of economic progress.

MLA Pappi also highlighted that the primary objective of the Punjab government is to provide modern infrastructure to every household, ward, and area. More development projects in Ludhiana Central will be launched soon, ensuring that residents fully benefit from modern facilities and that the overall development of the area progresses rapidly.
