The Youth Akali Dal, under the guidance of Shiromani Akali Dal’s public figure and true voice of the villages, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, and Youth Akali Dal President and Core Committee Member S. Sarabjeet Singh Jhinjer, is continuing large-scale relief efforts in flood-affected areas.
Jhinjer said that at present, around 2,000 Youth Akali Dal volunteers are on the ground, working daily to protect the health and lives of people in flood-hit villages. He added that more than 500 fogging machines have been dispatched to various constituencies by S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, ensuring daily fogging to protect people from diseases and mosquito-borne infections spreading after the floods.
He further said that volunteer teams have been deployed across villages in over 20 constituencies, going door-to-door, village-to-village, to serve people tirelessly, day and night. Essential supplies such as diesel, fodder for livestock, and daily necessities are being provided to those in need. He said that this entire campaign is being supervised by S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji himself.
He takes reports twice a day, in the morning and evening, to ensure that help reaches every needy person. S. Jhinjer emphasized that under the ideals and vision of S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji, he himself is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the people in their time of suffering.
He said, “Just as always, S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji is standing firmly with the people of Punjab today. He is personally planning the repair of broken dams, supply of diesel, and arrangements for seeds and wheat to support struggling farmers.”
Praising the party president, Jhinjer remarked, “We take pride in the fact that S. Sukhbir Singh Badal Ji is a sensitive, humble, and deeply committed leader who considers service his religion—not just politics. Under his leadership, every volunteer of the Youth Akali Dal is working in the villages with true dedication.”
