National BJP leader Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal Bhukhri Kalan said that the Bharatiya Janata Party Punjab is deeply concerned over the worsening flood situation in the state. He said that hundreds of villages have been submerged, thousands of acres of crops have been destroyed, and many families have lost their homes and connections to the outside world due to heavy rains, overflowing rivers, and continuous release of water from dams.

Grewal told that now is the time for every BJP worker in Punjab to step forward with courage and compassion, and go openly into the flood-affected areas to help people in every possible way. He appealed that medicines, food, drinking water, shelter, and even assistance in moving people to safer places must be provided with full dedication and commitment.

He further said that during these testing times, the role of the Army, NDRF, BSF, SDRF, and Punjab Police, who are tirelessly engaged in relief and rescue operations, deserves the highest appreciation. Their fearless service, hard work, and sacrifice in this dark hour will always be remembered by the people of Punjab.

Grewal said that Punjab BJP stands firmly with the people of Punjab in this hour of crisis and assured that all possible help will continue to be extended. He added that this is the time to show unity, humanity, and service, because Punjab’s pain is India’s pain.
