In a powerful display of unity and patriotism, thousands of people gathered today across the District Kishtwar to participate in the Tiranga Rallies, held under the banner of the nationwide ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. At District Headquarter Kishtwar a Mega Tiranga Rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Pawan Kotwal and Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pardeep Singh with active and massive involvement from civil society and various government departments.
The rally, which commenced from Dak Bungalow Chowk, passed through prominent town locations including Bun Astan, Hidyal Chowk, Mini Bus Stand, Main Bus Stand and Gurudwara Chowk, finally culminating at Chowgan Ground, Kishtwar. Citizens from all walks of life—students, teachers, government officers officials, and local residents - marched together, waving the national flag and chanting slogans such as "Har Ghar Tiranga," "Bharat Mata ki Jai," "Hindustan Zindabad," and "Vande Mataram."
The atmosphere was electric with patriotic fervor, as locals lined the streets to cheer and support the initiative. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at Chowgan Ground, Pawan Kotwal underlined the significance of such public engagements in nurturing a spirit of national unity, especially among the youth.
He praised the efforts of the Education Department, Department of Youth Services & Sports, and both civil and police administrations for organizing the impactful event.Similar Tiranga Rallies were simultaneously held across all sub-divisional and tehsil headquarters of the district, drawing thousands of additional participants and reinforcing the district’s collective commitment to the national cause.
CEO KDA Kaiser Bhawani, DSWO Zubair Ahmed, DIO Dr Kuldeep Kumar, ARTO Tasleem Wani, CEO Municipal Council Mirza Mumtaz Iqbal, Dy. SP Headquarters Dr. Ishan Gupta and other senior officers were present during the event.
