The Aam Aadmi Party launched a scathing attack against Khalistani supporter Gurpatwant Pannun’s recent disgraceful remarks about Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution. AAP leaders are continuously slamming Pannun and are daring him to come to Punjab.

On Monday, AAP MLAs Ashok Parashar Pappi, Daljit Singh Grewal (Bhola), Jeevan Singh Sangowal, and Rajinder Pal Kaur Chhina addressed a press conference on this issue in Ludhiana. On this occasion, party leader and MARKFED Chairman Amandeep Singh Mohie and party leader Paramveer Singh were also present.

Addressing the media, MLA Ashok Parashar Pappi said that some people and agencies sitting outside the country are trying to disrupt the atmosphere in Punjab. The incredible work that the Aam Aadmi Party government has done in Punjab over the past three years is intolerable to these foreign elements.

Under the leadership of AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Punjab is once again becoming the vibrant ‘Rangla Punjab’. This is the first government in Punjab to provide government jobs to 55,000 youth.

He said that Punjab is the land of gurus and saints. Gurpatwant Pannu wants to disturb the communal harmony of Punjab through his violent statements. But he knows nothing about the culture of Punjab. People of Punjab understand such dirty conspiracies.

He added that now there is an Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab. If any agency, party, or individual tries to disturb the peace of Punjab, they will be put behind bars. Even those sitting abroad will be brought back to India under international law and punished.

AAP MLA Daljit Singh Grewal (Bhola) said that whoever tries to defame Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party will stand firmly against them. Punjab is the land of five rivers and of gurus and saints. All religions are respected here.

Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and Christians live together in harmony. So, any attempt to disturb the peace here will never succeed. He said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar does not belong to any one caste, community, or religion.

He belongs to the entire nation. Through the Constitution, he gave people of all religions the rights to equality, freedom, and many civil liberties. The people of Punjab respect him the most. People like Pannun know nothing about him.

AAP MLA Jeevan Singh Sangowal said that such provocative statements are the only way people like Gurpatwant Pannun earn their living. This is their job. He often makes such disgraceful remarks. Sangowal said that we are not the kind of people who fear such hollow threats.

On the 14th, we will celebrate Baba Saheb’s birth anniversary with great enthusiasm. All Aam Aadmi Party workers and leaders will guard Dr. Ambedkar’s statues across the state with flags and sticks and pay tribute to him.
