The 8th edition of the Chhatra Sansad India Conclave (CSI) commenced at Lovely Professional University (LPU) with an electrifying spirit under the theme "Vision India 2047: Bharat @ 100. Eminent personalities Mr. Faisal Khan Sir, the renowned educationist, and Miss Jaya Kishori, the celebrated motivational speaker and spiritual leader, became an integral part of the event, engaging with over 20,000+ young minds through thought-provoking discussions and powerful insights.

Khan Sir captivated the audience with his compelling address, emphasizing the power of intellectual growth and self-discipline. Encouraging students to utilize technology wisely and develop essential skills, he remarked, "Your character should speak for you. 

India’s population is not the problem lack of skills is. You, the youth, have the potential to change this and elevate India on the global stage." Acknowledging the exceptional learning environment at LPU, he highlighted how the university’s world-class infrastructure and dedicated faculty create unparalleled opportunities for students. 

He urged them to make the most of this advantage, work hard, and contribute meaningfully to their families and the nation’s progress. Jaya Kishori inspired students to embrace spirituality alongside material success, debunking the myth that spirituality is detached from worldly responsibilities. She asserted, "Spirituality does not mean renouncing life; rather, it provides the strength to navigate its challenges. 

If you want to change society, begin with yourself because we are the society." She also reminded students of their duty towards the nation, saying, "Be proud of being Indian, and take responsibility for making your country proud."

Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU shared the revolutionary impact of such initiatives, stating, "I firmly believe that India will emerge as a developed nation even before 2047, driven by the visionary leadership of India and the extraordinary awakening youth nurtured here at LPU."

A significant highlight of the conclave was the crucial debate on "One Nation, One Election," which sparked insightful discussions on the future of a unified electoral system reflecting the collective aspirations of the nation.

Students actively participated, enriching the conversation with their diverse perspectives. Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, LPU students showcased India's rich cultural heritage through mesmerizing performances that beautifully represented the nation’s unity in diversity, leaving the audience in awe of India’s artistic and traditional wealth.

The grand event was graced by revered leaders such as V. Narayanan, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation & Secretary (ISRO), Department of Defence; Mrs. Smriti Irani, Former Union Minister of Women & Child Development, HRD & Textiles; Dr. Ashok Kumar Mittal, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) and Founder Chancellor of LPU; Shri Temjen Imna Along, Minister of Tourism & Higher Education, Government of Nagaland; Dr. Maulana Kalbe Rushaid Rizvi, Social Reformer; and Shri Kunal Sharma, Founder President of CSI.
