AAP Wednesday said it supported the UPSC aspirants' anti-CSAT agitation and demanded that the government postpone the Aug 24 preliminary test."We completely support the USPC anti-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) agitation, which is not against English or in support of Hindi. The protest demands justice to all Indian languages in the examination," Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Yogendra Yadav told the media at the party office in central Delhi. He said his party is of the view that the UPSC aspirants' demands are right and the government has ditched them by not fulfilling the same.

"The government kept engaging the students. Union ministers only gave assurance to delay the decision and ultimately gave what the students never wanted," said Yadav. The government Monday said marks for English language comprehension skills will not be included in preparing the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) merit list. The UPSC students have been protesting for the past two weeks, asking the government to scrap the CSAT while calling it "discriminatory" against those with Hindi and humanities background.
