Sukhbir Singh Badal President Shiromani Akali Dal and Deputy Chief Minister Punjab today said that the repeat mandate received by SAD BJP Government in Delhi Municipal Corporation Elections crushing Congress party, has reaffirmed the fact that countdown for decimation of Congress party from National Political scene has begun. Mr. Badal said that Shiromani Akali Dal by winning record five seats in these elections has shown its National acceptability.
In a statement issued here today SAD President said that continuous drubbing received by Congress party in every Electoral battle starting from Punjab, Goa then in Maharashtra Municipal Corporation elections and now in Capital of India Delhi Municipal Corporation Elections has exposed the real electoral base of Congress party. He said that it has reconfirmed the fact that people of India have got fed up from Congress party, its involvement in every multi lakh crore corruption, scandals and record price rise inflicted by this party on the common masses and now people are eagerly awaiting Lok
Sabha Elections to put a last nail in the coffin of Congress party. Describing Municipal Corporation results of New Delhi as a trailer of Lok Sabha results in 2014, Mr. Badal said that people of India have made their mind to honor National Democratic Alliance (NDA) with thumping mandate so that they could get a respite from Congress Jungle Raj. Congratulating the electorate of New Delhi for reposing their faith in BJP- SAD alliance, Mr. Badal said that time has come to kick out Congress led UPA Government from power who has mortgaged the National assets for their personal gains and bring back NDA to power.
