The inaugural ceremony of Udyamotsav 2025’s final pitching round was held today at Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC)-CGC Landran, marking a significant milestone for the startup ecosystem in India. 

The event witnessed the convergence of bright young minds, investors and dignitaries under one roof, all aimed at shaping the future of innovation. The local inauguration was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Munish Arora, CEO of Can and Able, who delivered an inspiring address to the gathering. 

The event also saw the presence of distinguished guests, including Mr. Sarim Moin, and Mr. Ankush Gawri, as well as Mr. Salil from Startup Punjab, who presented the keynote address. Their speeches set the tone for the day, highlighting the importance of fostering entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.

The central inaugural ceremony followed, with an audience of over 400 attendees, including students, startups, investors, and dignitaries. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as 27 shortlisted startup teams pitched their innovative ideas to 9 investors representing diverse industries. 

They impressed the panel with their creativity, technological advancements, and market potential.The event concluded with a heartfelt valedictory session, during which the startups and investors were felicitated with momentos and tokens of appreciation for their valuable participation. 

A networking tea session provided further opportunities for interaction, allowing startups and investors to form meaningful connections and partnerships.Udyamotsav 2025, an initiative supported by the Ministry of Education and Startup Punjab, proved to be a remarkable platform for young entrepreneurs. 

Special thanks to the Ministry of Education, AICTE, and Startup Punjab for supporting this wonderful initiative.Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC)-CGC Landran, one of the 13 host institutions selected from across India by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE, played a pivotal role in organizing this prestigious event, contributing to the success of Udyamotsav 2025.

The event was a clear example of the growing support for innovation and startups, providing a critical platform for emerging entrepreneurs to showcase their ideas to potential investors. The synergy created between startups, investors, and industry leaders ensures that India’s entrepreneurial landscape continues to thrive.
