Maharashtra Chief Minister Sh. Devendra Fadnavis, while speaking as the chief guest at a programme organized by Shaurya Smarak Samiti on the occasion of Shaurya Diwas in Kala Amb, Panipat, said the next year, this function will be organized under the joint aegis of the Haryana Government and Maharashtra Government.

Haryana Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will be requested to participate in this programme. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue will also be installed in the Kala Amb sthal premises. Sh. Devendra Fadnavis said Panipat is the land of heroes, which gives the message of bravery and unity.

It is from here that the Marathas got the lesson of living in unity. The Marathas showed bravery and taught a lesson to the invaders who destroyed temples, places of faith and places of worship, and unfurled the saffron flag in India again. The Marathas fought for the God, country and religion.

The land of Panipat is soaked in the blood of Marathas and heroes. The Chief Minister of Maharashtra said the slogan of ‘Viksit Bharat’ given by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi will be fulfilled only when all Indians will unite by forgetting caste discrimination.

Union Minister of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Shri Prataprao Jadhav said heroes and warriors have sacrificed their lives on the historical land of Panipat, so it is important for all of us to remember them. Strength lies in unity and determination. The Marathas taught that Indians have to unite and maintain the unity and honour of the country.
