Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Kharar, Mrs Anmol Gagan Mann has called for the overall development of the villages as the sole agenda for the new unopposed panchayats of Kharar Constituency. Felicitating them at an event organized at Kurali, the MLA Mann said that it is a matter of immense pride that 41 panchayats out of a total 136 have been elected unopposed affirming her belief in the sole agenda of development rising above all the groupism and factionalism. 

She said that the unopposed panchayats should strive hard to make remarkable changes in their villages by taking overall development carefully. She said that the one and only goal of the panchayats should be the development of their respective villages rising above petty politics.

Assuring them of the grant announced by the Punjab Government for the Panchayats to opt for unanimous election, she said that the unanimous act of electing a panchayat promotes harmony and unity in the villages and we support the panchayats with the dedication to the welfare and development of villagers in an unbiased view.

She appealed to the newly unopposed elected panchayats to work diligently and honestly by keeping the faith of villagers in them. Assuring her support in the development of villages, she said that she had always played a proactive role in the comprehensive development of the rural as well as urban population and her agenda will remain the same.

The Panchayats felicitated upon elected unopposed included Majri Block Villages Salempur Kalan, Barsalpur, Salempur Khurad, Bhoop Nagar, Dhaktana, Majri Colony, Hoshiarpur, Dulwan, Sangatpura, Fatehpur, Mundho Bhag Singh, Naggal Garhian, Dhakoran Kalan, Dhakoran Khurad, Kadi Majra, Niholka, Rampur, Rattangarh Simbal, Rakauli, Naggal Singha, Dhode Majra, Palheri, Salamatpur, Rasulpur, Jainti Majrian, Bhaghindi, Gurha, Kasauli, Bansepur, Dhanauran,  Malakpur, Rani Majra, Togan and Kharar Block Villages Badarpur, Gosla, Singhpura, Chhoti Parch, Gabbemajra, Ghator, Tanda, Machli Khurad.
