Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal on Wednesday inspected the ongoing works in Kidwai Nagar's School of Eminence (SOE). Accompanied by SDM Vikas Hira and senior officials from various departments, Jorwal issued directions to submit the proposal of revised estimate regarding new works within few days.
He stated that the SOE will be equipped with smart classrooms, modern infrastructure, labs, CCTV surveillance, and playgrounds with facilities for various sports. The SOE in Kidwai Nagar is being built by Ludhiana Improvement Trust.
The Deputy Commissioner stated that the mission of the School of Eminence program aims to bring a revolution in the education sector for the holistic development and a bright future for the students. He emphasized that the Punjab government is prioritizing the quality services in the education sector.
He added that the SOE is an ambitious program initiated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, and urged officials to make sincere efforts to complete the pending works expeditiously. Later, the Deputy Commissioner also visited SOE in Sector-32.
