PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry four-day 10th Ins/Out exhibition was inaugurated today by Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governer of Punjab & Administrator U.T. Chandigarh. During the inauguration, Sh. Kataria said that the increasing pollution is becoming a big challenge for the whole country.
To deal with this, everyone will have to make efforts. He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to protect the environment. Nature and construction should be linked together. We should take care of the environment and natural resources while constructing the buildings.
Moreover, the Administrator said that in the rapidly growing urbanization, the importance of architecture is increasing but environmental protection is being left behind. He said that Prime Minister Modi has vision to make India “Atam Nirbhar Bharat” by 2047. The role of institutions like PHDCCI is important in this architecture work.
This is the commendable effort of PHDCCI that consumers and producers have got one roof. This exhibition is organized with the collaboration of Indian Institute of Architects (IIA), Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI), Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), HAREDA, UHBVN, DHBVN, STARTUP PUNJAB, Network of People for Construction (NPC), & Industrial Business Owners Association (IBOA).
Earlier, while welcoming the administrator, Madhu sudan vij chair, Chandigarh chapter PHDCCI said that through this event, a platform is also provided to the students of architecture field. By coming here, they can learn about the new technology and changes coming in the field of building construction. Furthermore, Suvrat Khanna Co-Chair Chandigarh Chapter expressed gratitude to the guests and said that Ins/Out will be expanded in future.
On this occasion, Smt. Hargunjit Kaur, Secretary of Industries Department, Sh. TC Nautiyal, Secretary- Science and Technology, Chandigarh Administration, Sh. R S Sachdeva Chair Punjab state Chapter, Sh. Sanjeev Singh Sethi Co-Chair, Sh. Karn Gillhotra, Sh. Ranjit Singh, Ar Surinder Banga, Ar Manmohan Khanna and many other dignitaries were present.
