Rotaract District 3080 successfully hosted its annual District Assembly "Sharanga" on August 24th-25th, 2024 at Hotel Classic Residency, Pinjore. The two-day event was a resounding success, marked by the installation ceremony of DRR Rtr. Shashank Kaushik and his team along with the pinning of club leaders of RIY 2024-2025, and a series of activities that celebrated the spirit of fellowship and leadership.
The assembly kicked off on August 24th with a formal ceremony where the District Council members and club leaders were ceremoniously pinned, signifying their commitment to lead with courage and dedication throughout the year. The event brought together Rotaractors from across the district, fostering a spirit of unity and collaboration.
The evening of August 24th was filled with excitement as attendees enjoyed a Fellowship Dinner and DJ Party, which was a night to remember. The energy was high, and the atmosphere was electric as Rotaractors bonded over music, dance, and laughter, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
On the morning of August 25th, the event continued with engaging sports and games, providing a perfect balance of formal recognition and informal interaction. The activities were a great way to promote camaraderie and build lasting connections among the participants.

DRR Shashank Kaushik on his installation shared that, “Together with 2000 Rotaractors, we will strive to create a great impact in the society with various community service events planned like plantation drives, literacy drives, awareness drives, stationary donation drives, clothes donation drives and many more service projects. With our new theme Illuminate , Inspire, Ignite and Impact, we strive to create a better positive society.”
District Governor Rtn. Rajpal Singh encouraged all Rotaractors and shared “ Rotaractors are the youth wing of Rotrary and are the future leaders, they have immense potential and am glad that they are coming together to make a difference in the society. He highlighted the major events and role of Rotary in curbing Polio “
District Rotaract Committee Chair Rtn. Mohit Singla shared that, “ In these times with Kolkata incident in the news and manty such cases, Rotaractors have huge responsibility to create awareness and create a society thats free from such social evils. “
The success of District Assembly "Sharanga" was highlighted by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including First Lady Rtn Inderbir Kaur, Rtn Naveen Gupta, Sham Rawal, AP Singh, KP Singh, Amitpal Singh, , whose guidance and support were instrumental in making this event a grand success.
This assembly not only celebrated the installation of new leaders but also reinforced the unity and collective spirit that define Rotary International District 3080. As the newly pinned leaders embark on their journey, they carry with them the warrior ethos of "Sharanga," ready to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
