Town & Country Planning, Housing Minister and Chairman HIMUDA Rajesh Dharmani today presided over a review meeting concerning the Mountain Township project at Jathia Devi. Rajesh Dharmani emphasized the importance of prioritizing the commencement of work on the available land in the first phase.
He stressed that this initial progress is vital to bolster public confidence, which has been building over time and to inspire investor confidence in the project. He also directed that the project must incorporate green initiatives to align with sustainable development goals.
In addition to setting these priorities, the Minister instructed officials to coordinate with district authorities to expedite the transfer of land necessary for the project's progression. CEO-cum-Secretary of HIMUDA, Sandeep Kumar conducted the preceding of the meeting and provided update on the current status of the Mountain City project at Jathia Devi.
The Chief Engineer (Works) Dr. Surinder Kumar Vashisht presented a detailed overview of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) submitted to the Government of India, while the Executive Director of HIMUDA shared the latest information on land status at Jathia Devi. Further insights were provided by TATA Consulting Engineers Limited, who delivered an in-depth presentation on the Jathia Devi project.
AGISAC representatives also contributed by presenting on the geo-tagging of HIMUDA properties. Senior officials of HIMUDA were present in the meeting.

नगर नियोजन एवं तकनीकी शिक्षा मंत्री व हिमुडा के अध्यक्ष राजेश धर्माणी ने आज यहां जाठिया देवी में माउंटेन टाउनशिप विकसित करने सम्बंधी कार्य की समीक्षा की। बैठक में हिमुडा के मुख्य प्रशासनिक अधिकारी (सीईओ) व सचिव संदीप कुमार, हितधारकों और जिला प्रशासन के अधिकारियों व अन्य प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।
हिमुडा अध्यक्ष ने सीईओ और कार्यकारी निदेशक को भूमि हस्तांतरण के संबंध में जिला के अधिकारियों के साथ समन्वय करने के निर्देश दिए। राजेश धर्माणी ने प्रथम चरण में उपलब्ध भूमि पर कार्य तत्काल शुरू करने के निर्देश दिए, ताकि कार्य में प्रगति हो सके, जिससे इस परियोजना का इंतजार कर रहे लोगों तथा निवेशकों का विश्वास भी बढ़े। उन्होंन यह भी निर्देश दिए कि उपरोक्त परियोजना का कार्य शुरू करते समय हरित पहल पर विशेष ध्यान दिया जाना चाहिए।
टाटा कंसल्टिंग इंजीनियर्स लिमिटेड द्वारा जाठिया देवी परियोजना तथा आर्यभट्ट भू-सूचना विज्ञान एवं अंतरिक्ष अनुप्रयोग केंद्र (एजीआईएसएसी) प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा हिमुडा संपत्तियों की जियो टैगिंग पर विस्तृत प्रस्तुति दी गई। सीईओ संदीप कुमार ने माउंटेन टाउनशिप जाठिया देवी की नवीनतम प्रगति के बारे में जानकारी दी।
मुख्य अभियंता (निर्माण) डॉ. सुरेन्द्र कुमार वशिष्ट ने भारत सरकार को दी गई विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट पर एक विस्तृत प्रस्तुति दी और हिमुडा के कार्यकारी निदेशक ने जाठिया देवी में भूमि की नवीनतम स्थिति की विस्तृत जानकारी दी। इस बैठक में विभाग के वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी उपस्थित थे।
