Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, on Sunday, attended a programme organised by the ‘Sant Nirankari Seva Mission’ in Atta village, Panipat. Speaking as the chief guest, he commended the Mission for its unique work in serving both humanity and nature, which he described as exemplary for everyone. He said that this Mission is a living example of selfless service across the country, and he feels fortunate that he got a chance to join this mission.
The Chief Minister said that the Mission operates on the foundation of service, providing health services, blood donation, eye donation, and medical camps. He emphasised on the importance of tree plantation to restore the environment, which has been severely impacted by deforestation. Besides this, the Chief Minister also participated in the planting of 21,000 saplings.
The Chief Minister stated that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi has initiated the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' campaign with great foresight, and by planting more trees, we can secure our environment for the future.Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini emphasised the importance of preserving our culture and values.
He stated that, along with protecting trees, we must also care for the elderly in our homes. The state has decided to plant one crore 60 lakh saplings, and during the recent ‘Van Mahotsav’ in Karnal, 20,000 saplings were planted in a day. So far, nearly one crore saplings have been planted under this campaign, and the process continues.
The Chief Minister also assured that his doors are open 24 hours a day for the public, and anyone can approach him with their issues. He highlighted that children from poor families are now entering administrative services, and under the ‘Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam’ scheme, 1,20,000 youths have secured jobs, which is a testament to the state government's vision.
He called upon the people to take the initiative in preserving nature by planting more trees to create a pollution-free environment. Panipat, MLA, Sh. Pramod Vij, Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Virender Kumar Dahiya, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Ajit Singh Shekhawat, SDM, Samalkha, Sh. Amit Kumar and various administrative and forest department officers were also remained present.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने रविवार को पानीपत के गांव आटा में संत निरंकारी सेवा मिशन द्वारा आयोजित कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि लोगों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि यह मिशन मानव सेवा के साथ-साथ प्रकृति की सेवा का भी अनूठा कार्य कर रहा है जो हम सबके लिए अनुकरणीय है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मिशन पूरे देश में निस्वार्थ सेवा का जीता जागता उदाहरण है और यह उनका सौभाग्य है कि उन्हें इस मिशन से जुड़ने का मौका मिला।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह मिशन सेवा को आधार स्तंभ मानते हुए काम कर रहा है जिसमें स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं, रक्तदान और नेत्रदान मेडिकल कैंप इत्यादि का कार्य किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह मिशन अंदर के प्रदूषण के साथ-साथ बाहर के प्रदूषण से भी बचाने का काम कर रहा है क्योंकि अंदर और बाहर का प्रदूषण हम सबके लिए हानिकारक हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि लगातार वृक्षों की कटाई के कारण वातावरण की जो दुर्दशा हुई है उसको हम ने ठीक करना है और यह काम पेड़ लगाने से ही होगा। इस अवसर पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने पौधा रोपण भी किया।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने दूरदर्शिता के साथ एक पेड़ मां के नाम कार्यक्रम का आह्वाहन किया है और आने वाले समय में हम ज्यादा से ज्यादा पेड़ लगाकर इस वातावरण को सुरक्षित कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि पिछले दोनों प्रदेश में भी तापमान 50 डिग्री को पार कर गया जिसके कारण लोगों को बड़ी परेशानी हुई। हमें इसके बारे में सोचना होगा और ज्यादा से ज्यादा पौधे लगाने होंगे।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि हमें अपनी संस्कृति और संस्कार संभालने होंगे। पेड़ की रक्षा के साथ-साथ अपने घर के बुजुर्गों की देखभाल भी करनी चाहिए। प्रदेश में एक करोड़ 60 लाख पौधे लगाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। पिछले दिनों करनाल में आयोजित वन महोत्सव में एक ही दिन मे 20 हजार पौधे लगाए गए थे और वर्तमान में एक करोड़ के करीब पौधे इस अभियान के तहत लगाए जा चुके हैं। यह प्रक्रिया निरंतर जारी है।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि आमजन के लिए उनके दरवाजे 24 घंटे खुले हैं। कोई भी व्यक्ति अपनी समस्या लेकर उनके समक्ष आ सकता है। आज गरीब परिवार के बच्चे प्रशासनिक सेवा में आ रहे हैं। यही नहीं हरियाणा कौशल रोजगार निगम योजना के तहत 1 लाख 20 हजार युवाओं की नौकरी को सुरक्षित किया गया है और यह केवल प्रदेश सरकार की सोच का ही परिणाम है।
उन्होंने लोगों से आह्वान किया कि वे प्रकृति को संरक्षित करने की पहल करें और ज्यादा से ज्यादा पौधे लगाएं ताकि वातावरण को प्रदूषण मुक्त किया जा सके।इस मौके पर पानीपत शहरी विधायक श्री प्रमोद विज, उपायुक्त डॉक्टर वीरेंद्र कुमार दहिया, पुलिस अधीक्षक श्री अजीत सिंह शेखावत, एडीसी डॉक्टर पंकज यादव, एसडीएम समालखा श्री अमित कुमार, डीएसपी श्री नरेंद्र सिंह के अलावा विभिन्न प्रशासनिक अधिकारी और वन विभाग के अधिकारी भी उपस्थित रहे।
