During the interaction with media persons today, former Minister Anil Vij explained that previously there were injustices with the staff due to lack of promotions, but now everything has been resolved. He cited an example where, on the same date, one employee recruited in the Ambala range remained a constable while another in the Gurgaon range was promoted to Sub-Inspector.
He mentioned that he worked hard during his tenure to correct this disparity and had repeatedly sent files up and down for review. Today, with the promotions granted, there is a wave of happiness among all police personnel in the Ambala range.It is noteworthy that during former Haryana Home Minister Anil Vij's tenure, some police personnel had raised concerns that Ambala range police employees were not being promoted, while promotions were being given to employees in other ranges.
In response, former Minister Anil Vij took immediate action, preparing their files and recommending their promotions. Although Anil Vij is no longer the Home Minister, he continued to advocate for their cause, and now, the Haryana government has promoted over 300 police personnel to the rank of Sub-Inspector.

हरियाणा के पूर्व गृह मंत्री श्री अनिल विज के प्रयासों से अम्बाला पुलिस रेंज के लगभग 300 से ज्यादा भर्ती हुए पुलिस कर्मचारियों को हरियाणा सरकार ने प्रमोशन देकर सब-इंस्पेक्टर बनाया है। आज प्रमोशन हासिल करने वाले पुलिस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने पूर्व गृह मंत्री अनिल विज को लड्डू खिलाते हुए उनका मुंह मीठा करवाया और खुशी का इजहार किया।
पूर्व मंत्री अनिल विज ने इस दौरान पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए बताया कि प्रमोशन नहीं मिलने की वजह से पहले स्टाफ के साथ ज्यादती हो रहीं थी, लेकिन अब सब ठीक है। उन्होंने उदाहरण देते हुए बताया कि पहले एक ही तारीख में दो कर्मचारी भर्ती हुए तो अम्बाला रेंज में भर्ती हुआ कर्मचारी हवलदार रह गया जबकि दूसरा गुरुग्राम रेंज वाला सब इंस्पेक्टर बन गया।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह जो भिन्नता थी इसको सही करने के लिए उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल में काफी मेहनत की थी और इसके लिए कई बार फाइलों को ऊपर-नीचे भेजा गया। मगर, आज पुलिस कर्मियों को प्रमोशन मिल गई है जिससे अम्बाला रेंज के सभी पुलिस कर्मचारियों में खुशी की लहर है। गौरतलब है कि हरियाणा के पूर्व गृह मंत्री अनिल विज के कार्यकाल में कुछ पुलिस कर्मियों ने गुहार लगाई थी कि अंबाला रेंज के पुलिस कर्मचारियों को प्रमोशन नहीं मिल रही है जबकि अंबाला के बाहर रेंज में सभी को प्रमोशन दिए जा रहे है।
