NIELIT Ropar inks pact with RBU for research projects

Rayat Bahra University has signed a memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology (NIELIT), Ropar for carrying out research and development activities. The two institutions will now undertake joint research projects.

The NIELIT Ropar and Rayat Bahra University will work together on research and development activities for uplift of the society. Advance Internet of things (IoT) and Data science based solutions will be developed for agriculture needs and industry will be supplied with cutting edge technological solutions.

The NIELIT and RBU will work together for PhD exchange programs. Various internship opportunities for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the government sector will be provided to Rayat Bahra university by NIELIT.

Dr Sanjeev Kumar Gupta, Executive Director, NIELIT Ropar, signed the MoU while RBU Vice-Chancellor Dr Parvinder Singh signed the MoU. Prof. Maninder was also present on this occasion.

Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of the Rayat Bahra University, expressed happiness over the signing of the MoU and said he was optimistic that the MoU would prove to be highly beneficial for research and development projects for agriculture and industrial sectors.
