A meeting was held today on ‘Implementation of Chandigarh Master Plan 2031’ at Chandigarh Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Sh. Rajeev Verma, Adviser to Administrator UT Chandigarh.

The meeting started with a presentation on brief background regarding Integrated Planning and Development of Chandigarh and various major projects undertaken by different departments of Chandigarh Administration and their status of completion.

Regional issues were taken up and detailed deliberations were done on important issues in Chandigarh related to environment, land use- housing, residential, commercial and industrial, heritage conservation, social infrastructure, physical infrastructure, rural and peripheral areas and coordinated plan of Chandigarh Region.

The Adviser reviewed the sectoral growth and instructed to implement the Master Plan accordingly. Ms. Anindita Mitra, Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Sh. Ajay Chagti, Secretary Local Govt., Ms. Hargunjit Kaur, Secretary Finance, Sh. Vinay Partap Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh Sh. Hari Kallikkat, Secretary Culture, Sh Rupesh Kumar, Secretary State Transport Authority and other senior officials of Chandigarh Administration were present in the meeting..

व्यापक शहरी विकास रणनीतियों पर जोर दिया

चंडीगढ़ सचिवालय में आज चंडीगढ़ मास्टर प्लान 2031 के क्रियान्वयन पर एक बैठक आयोजित की गई। इस बैठक की अध्यक्षता चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन के सलाहकार श्री राजीव वर्ना ने की। बैठक की शुरुआत चंडीगढ़ की एकीकृत योजना और विकास तथा चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन के विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा शुरू की गई विभिन्न प्रमुख परियोजनाओं और उनके पूरा होने की स्थिति के बारे में संक्षिप्त पृष्ठभूमि पर एक प्रस्तुति के साथ हुई।

क्षेत्रीय मुद्दों पर चर्चा की गई और चंडीगढ़ में पर्यावरण, भूमि उपयोग-आवास, आवासीय, वाणिज्यिक और औद्योगिक, विरासत संरक्षण, सामाजिक अवसंरचना, भौतिक अवसंरचना, ग्रामीण और परिधीय क्षेत्रों तथा चंडीगढ़ क्षेत्र की समन्वित योजना से संबंधित महत्वपूर्ण मुद्दों पर विस्तृत विचार-विमर्श किया गया। सलाहकार ने क्षेत्रीय विकास की समीक्षा की और मास्टर प्लान को तदनुसार लागू करने के निर्देश दिए।

बैठक में नगर निगम आयुक्त सुश्री अनिंदिता मित्रा, स्थानीय सरकार सचिव श्री अजय चगती, वित्त सचिव सुश्री हरगुनजीत कौर, चंडीगढ़ के उपायुक्त श्री विनय प्रताप सिंह शामिल हुए। बैठक में संस्कृति सचिव हरि कल्लिक्कट, राज्य परिवहन प्राधिकरण के सचिव श्री रूपेश कुमार और चंडीगढ़ प्रशासन के अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
